The Burning House

Around a year and a half ago, I submitted a photo to theburninghouse.com. I checked the site religiously, and my entry never went up - which I found a little disappointing. I made a submission because it seemed like people were posting hoards of possessions, and I was thinking, yeah, good luck collecting all that together, mate. I figured what I deemed worthy to save was too boring.

Now, I should probably feel ashamed to admit that I just Googled my username, but we all do it, right? In doing so I came across two articles about this project and my submission features in both! One on glamour.com, and one on thehuffingtonpost.com. I also didn't realise there's a book, so I had a gander on Amazon and, what do you know, my submission is on one of the pages shown on Amazon.


My Teddy is in a book! Now I have to buy it. If I'd have known they'd stick this in a book, I would have taken a better photograph and I certainly wouldn't have used some dodgy Photoshop action - what can I say, I was going through a phase. Exciting, though!
