Granted, some of these don't look too fancy, but because they're so different to tickets here, they seem more exciting. Like the handwritten train ticket from Latvia, for example. And anything Cyrillic.
Do you hold onto all your tickets? If so, what have you done with them? My nanna thinks I should create a travel scrapbook (she's really into scrapbooking), and I have found one with an old map of Europe on the front, so I'm quite tempted. At the moment, they're all just in a folder in box, which is a shame.

Great post! I love saving all my flight passes, train tickets, and bus passes for my scrapbook or travel journey. I want to have a small library of my travel journals, haha. Hey, as one of my followers I'm tagging you for the Leibstar Blog Awards and I'd love for you to join us, if you're interested all the info is here http://mydearest-friend.blogspot.ca/2013/02/leibster-blog-awards.html
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome. Brings back memories of my Europe travels.
ReplyDeleteLovely! I wish I'd kept more tickets from my travels, but I do have a big bag of entry tickets for temples and shrines from my time in Japan that I intend to make a scrapbook out of at some point (along with a bunch of other interesting receipts and paper goodies). I've been saying that for half a year now though, and I still haven't got around to it!
ReplyDeleteOh! And old Moscow subway ticket! I already forgot they looked like this! So cool, love your collection :-)

ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! I keep all of my tickets too, but I paste them into travel journals.
